SAF does not cover the cost of the flight to and from India, and you will be responsible for booking your own flights.

Once in India, SAF will provide the following for the duration of your commitment:

  • Accommodation
  • Transportation to and from the relief areas
  • Basic meals such as breakfast and dinner

Please note: For volunteers travelling during the warm summer months, SAF will try to provide a room with AC. However, please be advised this is not guaranteed.

You may choose to stay in India after your volunteer period is over, but you will need to make your own accommodation arrangements, and any expenses incurred will not be covered by SAF International.
