Child Updates

As we work with a vast number of children across India, providing updates to each donor takes a considerable amount of time. The process of providing updates begins at the beginning of the year and takes about 6 months to go through each and every child in our system.

With that in mind, I hope you can understand why we’re only able to commit to one update a year. This update occurs in the summer and is a good snapshot of your sponsored child's academic performance over the past year, and where possible, we do try to provide community/family updates too.

Please Note: The cut off for a summer update for the following year is December 31st of the current year.

If we receive any news regarding your sponsored child’s health, the health of their family, or a change in their circumstances, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.

Requesting an Update

Due to the large number of children that we oversee, we’re not able to fulfill individual requests for updates beyond the information that will be available on the child’s profile

If you’re interested in receiving an update about your child, we would recommend checking the child’s profile page once every few months to see if there are any new updates.

If you do not hear from us regarding your child’s status outside of the summer updates, this means that everything is running normally and there is nothing to report. If we ever receive news regarding your sponsored child’s health, the health of their family, or a change in their circumstances, we will notify you by email.
