If you’d like to update your tax receipt from a business name to a personal name, please:

1. Send an Email

   Attach a Letter from the Corporation

   Include a formal letter on the company’s letterhead that contains:

   • A request for the name change.
   • Both the corporation name and personal name.
   • Corresponding addresses and emails for both names.

If further details are required, our team will contact you promptly.

Can I Use a Tax Receipt Issued Under My Spouse’s Name?

Yes, tax receipts for spouses are interchangeable. You can use a tax receipt issued under your spouse’s name to file your tax return. In this case, there is no need to request a name change.
